I got a chance to watch the construction back in the late '60s while I held my first Summer job working with my dad at Western Union down on Chambers Street.

All I remember is the sight of that giant crane lifting huge I-Beams up the sides of the towers.
It was a long time ago...I was so young...

So please, talk to me...leave a comment...even if you've never been there.

I moved out here to Arizona in '81 before I ever got a chance to go back.
